In April 2018, First Look Media named Drew Wilson its Chief Financial Officer at its’ New York headquarters. Drew has oversight over the company’s business development, M&A activities, sales and distribution, direct-to-consumer operations, finance and strategic planning, human resources, legal/business affairs and global facilities.

Drew was previously Chief Financial Officer of Los Angeles based media start-up AwesomenessTV (“ATV”) for nearly 3 years. During Drew’s term, he was responsible for the company’s finance and treasury functions, human resources, business affairs and real estate/facilities. Awesomeness grew to generate over $150M annually in revenues through its’ multi-channel branded network channels distributed across many media platforms including You-tube, OTT SVOD, AVOD platforms and licensed cable & satellite channels globally. Awesomeness also successfully expanded its studio operations owning all IP and producing high quality original scripted programming for TV and feature films.

Prior to AwesomenessTV, Drew was CFO of publicly traded (NASDAQ) media company RLJ Entertainment for three years. RLJE successfully launched and grew two independent SVOD channels including AcornTV that currently has over 800,000 paying subs. While Drew was CFO, he led the re-capitalization of the company through syndicating the corporate debt and raising capital in the market.

Beginning in 2002, Mr. Wilson spent 10+ years in various executive positions at publicly traded Discovery Communications, LLC (DISCA), a $4 billion media company with global cable networks. At Discovery, Mr. Wilson held positions including: CFO – Digital Distribution & Digital Media division and SVP Worldwide Corporate Controller. Drew spent five years as Vice President and Controller of International Networks Division. Prior to Discovery, Drew was Director, Corporate Accounting and Reporting for Host Marriott Corporation (HST), a $3 billion publicly traded hospitality real estate portfolio company. Mr. Wilson started his career with the Big 4 accounting firm Price Waterhouse LLP in Washington DC.

Mr. Wilson grew up in Virginia and attended Norfolk State University where he graduated with a BS in Accounting. Mr. Wilson is a Certified Public Accountant in Maryland and resides in New York City. Mr. Wilson has three children.
